August Wind

Acrylics on organic cotton canvas, 40 x 40 cm

July was something. I imagined the peak of summer to be a peak of activity and creation. Instead, I was confronted with a slow body and a mind longing for space and ease. The sea and friends presented themselves as a sanctuary during these long summer days. Nostalgia in the now.

August arrived as a friend. With him came a sense of direction, a drive. Not forced, only followed. Welcoming a time of harvest
with ease.
